Blue eyed Susans, Standing in a domino line

About average height for her age, she's not really one to complain about her looks, but she doesn't exactly brag about them either. To be honest there are a few things she would like to change appearance wise, but they are minor and she would probably missed them if she could fix them. Her hair is a nice dark brown, and her eyes a lighter shade of that. Paige's skin is a nice golden cream, with soft pink rouging on her cheek bones. Structural wise she's skinny but muscular, but not overly so. Just enough that would noticeable, since she's constantly out and about doing something. Her legs are long and strong, due to her constant exercise she gets on the job.

Falling in and out of love all the time, They'll break your heart just to see a boy cry

Her apparel isn't something one would brag about, she usually wears anything comfy rather than fashionable. Paige tends to stay with neutral colors but will occasionally wear pops of green or blue to accent what clothing she is wearing that day. Jean jackets and tank tops are often among her wardrobe as well as work boots and sensible shoes, seeing as she prefers comfort over styles. Her clothes aren't generally form fitting but she knows what fits her, even if others find it a bit plain for their tastes. Her goal isn't to stand out, just to cover herself decently. Clothing is essential to her but style obviously isn't.

But not me, I am a brown eyed loner

Ever since her parents divorce, her mother pushed her aside to care for her own needs. So she had to fend for herself, as in learning how to cook, keep the house presentable and keep the fridge stocked so they didn't die. She had to mature pretty fast in a short amount of time and even took a job in high school to keep a roof over their heads. She kept her head above water and gained a no-nonsense sort of attitude though she does lighten up and has a obvious sense of humor. She's a fairly serious person but not to the point where she's stubborn and hardheaded.

Around children and animals, she's very gentle and understanding, knowing that they want to be treated like equals but at the same time uses a stern hand to rein them in. She's not one to be walked all over and doesn't care much for being teased (unless it's lighthearted way and the person has good intentions). Keeping a level head on her shoulders and an honest heart, she can be quite the goof if she's comfortable enough with a person. However, she has to know you really well due to her memory issues. She may know your name and all but it doesn't mean she'll remember you.

I march to my own drummer, I'm a piccolo owner and the labor of my mother's love

Very hard working and diligent, she takes care of her mother who seems to be beside herself at the moment and makes sure to pay the bills and keep their little two bedroom house nice. It's not the easiest living in the world but emotionally, she can handle it. Incredibly open and kind to others, she's not one to turn a blind eye to those in need, but if they are the 'pity me' types she may be more reserved about how much help she gives.

An avid animal lover, she's been known to take in a stray dog or injured cat to nurture and care for until they get better. She'll then find a friend or a person she has become familiar with to take them as their own. Her future is a bit sketchy and a bit of an uncertain subject for her. She's got the grades to attend college and further her endeavors but she's not quite sure if she could get the scholarships, considering the hundreds or thousands of other applicants. Her dream is to one day own a cabin out in the woods and spend all her summers there like she did in her grandfather's cabin when she was a kid. Life is precious to her and she doesn't want to waste a single moment with the 'what ifs'. Love isn't something she fools with, to her, if it happens it happens. And if it doesn't well, she'll survive, just like everybody else.

History
Honey you'd be a load off her mind, But with or without you

Born to a young couple in Montgomery, Alabama, Paige's early life was pretty blissful. Her infant years were a time of great joy for her parents who were still in love with each other at the time. Her toddler years went pretty fast also but as she transitioned into a child, it seemed that her parents young marriage was beginning to fall apart at the seems. First it was the arguing, as soon as she was out of their sight or supposed to be asleep, it would begin. Occasional they would do so in front of her, both of them rather course with each other. Her grandfather usually kept her away during these times, and even took her to his cabin during the summers to keep her mind off of things.

Even though her parents' life was destroying itself, her childhood had remained unscathed and carefree due to her grandfather's involvement. She wasn't totally blind to what was going on though and sometimes thought it was her fault for what was going on. It seemed to peak the summer she turned eleven, her parents had officially filed for divorce so her grandfather had taken her away for the day while they through court proceedings. A drunk driver in a red pick up truck was speeding down the road as they sang a long to a few sixties song and began to move towards the light. That was when the truck collided into her grandfather's side of the car, killing him instantly. During the ordeal, she had been thrust forward, her head contacting with the windshield, causing a concussion. How extreme it was wouldn't be seen until later.

At the hospital she screamed, still in shock of what just happened, her hands flailing for her grandfather's. He was pronounced dead on scene however and was taken to the morgue. She was immediately taken to the Emergency room and patched up. And she remained in the hospital for a few days, and by then the doctors had found out the results of the concussion. It appeared her cognitive functions were still there, she could remember things like the diner name, a person's name, how to tie her shoes, etc. But when it came to remembering people she had just met after the accident, well it took her time to fully understand that she met them. To make things easier for her, they gave a her a hospital bracelet to wear and she memorized her condition and any, and all details pertaining to it. She had to be careful for the rest of her life because of this, and felt a bit guilty to those she had yet to meet, for they would be the most effected.

My only plan is to be free, With or without you

After the divorce, her father moved away and remarried to a younger woman and began another family, and cut off all contact with her. She was left with her mother, who seemed to become rather beside herself about the whole thing. The woman shut out the fact she had a kid completely and began treating her as a room mate, and then began going out at night in hopes of finding a new man. Leaving Paige to deal with everything hitting the fan. She soon learned how to cook, clean and keep the house in order.

Middle School was a challenge, if it wasn't for her friends keeping her head above water and keeping her up to date on who she met and such, she would've never survived. Many of the other kids saw her as a special kid and often ignored her, or teased her. She didn't really take them seriously, and if they got in her face she would just raise her eyebrow and say a few choice words and walk away. She didn't care what they thought or had to say, since it was all negative anyway. It was their problem that they saw her that way. She wasn't a victim either, though she did get very upset when her grandfather came to mind. He was her rock, and now he was lost to her forever.

She began spending her summer at away camps and preoccupied herself with helping the neighbors with odd jobs since she was too young to apply for any actual jobs. She became rather dependable and called upon by them and often took very good care of those she worked for. Whether it be babysitting, walking the dog or even mowing the lawn, she was their girl. Since she had known them since she was a child, she had no trouble remembering their kids or pets' names, unless they hard received them recently. If they were new, then she restricted herself from watching them until she remembered who they were. It was a slow and tedious process, but she managed to work through it and do what she had to do.

As high school rolled around, she was already on point with her grades and never got anything less than a 3.5 gpa average. Though not a genius, she worked just as diligently on her school work as she did on her odd jobs. With the expense of opting out of extracurricular activities, she saved up the money she earned from helping her neighbors to help with the bills and keep food on the table. She didn't have much but somehow she could stretch it enough for them to live. Her mother hardly worked, only a couple of days a week, so she had to take a real job when she turned sixteen to keep the place they were currently living in. By then she knew how to balance a check book, keep track of the expenses and even do taxes. It kept her busy and kept her mind off prior upsets.

I'm still me

Her mother managed to be hired for a new job her senior year in Austere City. So they moved there that summer after she graduated. Paige has since as a personal assistant to a lawyer named B. Smith, a decent individual in his field. She hasn't really dated or seen anyone romantically because she is too busy to do so and hasn't found anyone that she can particularly bond with in that way. College is a far away dream for her, so she sticks with the one she believes is more plausible to accomplish: a cabin in the woods. The price tag for such a thing is a bit steep for her at the moment, but she'll work as hard as she can until the moment she is finally handed the keys to her favorite place.

I'll join a band and sing like a canary, Get out of here and change my name to Cherry

• Favorite color is teal.
• Favorite beverage is Ice Tea Lemonade (though she's also partial to plain old Strawberry Lemonade)
• Prefers shakes over smoothies.
• Loves all kinds of animals, horses, cats and dogs to name a few.
• Prefers a hamburger over a fancy meal any day.
• Isn't into expensive gifts like necklaces and broaches and prefers heartfelt ones that people put thought into.
• Is terrified of thunder and will literally hide and cover her ears until the storm passes.
And every night I'll thank Holy Mother Mary, I am a keeper

• Her favorite place in the world is grandfather's cabin, but she'd settle for one just outside of Austere.
• Often wears her hair in a ponytail or just brushed out.
• Can play piano decently but hardly ever does anymore.
